Installing DriveStrike is quick and easy. The DriveStrike product team worked hard to make deploying and installing DriveStrike as simple as possible. Whether you are deploying and installing on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, or Linux, installing on an individual device shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes.

Windows

Windows Installation Instructions:

Method 1:

  • Go to the Install page in your DriveStrike account.
  • Send an email to the end user of the device you want to add.
  • The user will download the installer and follow the prompts to install DriveStrike and register the device to your account.

Method 2:

  • Log in to your DriveStrike account from the device you want to add.
  • Go to the Install page and click on the link to download DriveStrike.
  • Follow the prompts to install DriveStrike and register the device to your account.

Mass Deployment:

On Windows devices, DriveStrike administrators have the option to do a Mass Deployment. See deployment resources on the Resources page and contact support@drivestrike.com for your mass deployment token.

Mac Installation Instructions:

Method 1:

iPhone/iPad Installation Instructions:

Android Enterprise

Android (Enterprise) Installation Instructions:

  • You will need to begin with a factory reset device, as DriveStrike will be installed during the setup process.
  • Set up the device by following the prompts, and make sure you connect to Wi-Fi when you are given the option.
  • Type “afw#setup” when it asks you to sign in to a Google account and click “next” – this will allow you to install DriveStrike in Android Enterprise Mode.
  • Confirm the installation and then continue with the Enterprise Management setup by following the prompts.
  • When you get the DriveStrike registration notification, tap on the notification and register the device to your DriveStrike account.

Android BYOD

Android (BYOD) Installation Instructions:

  • Go to the Install page in your DriveStrike account.
  • Send an email to the end user of the device you want to add.
  • The user will download the installer and follow the prompts to install DriveStrike and register the device to your account.
  • When prompted to choose a profile setup, the user will select “Shared Management” to install DriveStrike in BYOD mode.
